You will be making a seamless tile
And a stationary background with the tile

What is Needed
 
PSP (any version should work)
A Tube of Your Choice
 
Plugin Filters
 
Redfield -Lattice Composer
 Filter - Simple
 
 
 
Lets Begin
 
Part 1 - The Tile
 
 
Open your tube in PSP
Choose 2 colors from your tube
Make a 200 x 200 New Image - Transparent
 
Floodfill your tile with one of your colors
Go to Effects Plugins Redfield- Lattice Composer
 
 
Use the  Default settings except for the preset
Use - 4weaved4
 
Then go to Effects - Distortion - Punch
 
 
Strength - 75%
 
 
Next Go to Effects- Plugins - Simple -4 Way Average
Then Simple - Quick Tile
 
Go to Layers - Merge - Merge all Flatten
 
Save your tile as a jpg
Don't close it we will be using it for part 2
 
 
Part ll
 
Note
Make a New Image Transparent
with these Dimensions
1024 x 300 ( I use this setting for Outlook Express Stationary)
1280 x 300 (This i use for Incredimail Stationary)
I find for Incredimail that it is better since the
new resolutions for a Flat Screen Monitor show the side border
on the right size too.
 
 
Now to Begin
 
Go to your Material Palette and select Pattern
Find your tile you made and selct it using the
Settings Below
 
 
Make a New Image Transparent
(which ever you choose above)
 
Go to Selections - Select All
Go To Effects -  Image - Copy
Effects - Image Paste into Selection
Selections - Select None
 
 
Go to Effects - Plugins - Simple - Quick Tile
 
Make your tube active
Go to Edit - Copy
Edit -Past - Paste as New Layer
 
Move your tube to the left.
Place it where you think it looks good
 
Go to Effects 3D Effects Drop Shadow
 
 
Vertical and Horizontal - 2
Opacity - 80
Blur - 5
Color - Black
 
Add a New Layer and add your watermark
Go To Layers - Merge - Merge All Flatten
 
That is it you are Done
Save your stationary  strip as a jpg.
