Dimensional Side Border
What Is needed:
Tube of Choice
No Outside Filters
Pick a light color from your tube and set it to
foreground color
Pick a dark color from your tube and set it to
background color
Open a new transparant
image 200 x 200 pixels
*Floodfill with your
Dark or Light color *
(Note:If you
use the light color first then you must reverse the
color options below
There is an
asterik by the colors directions to refer to this
note)
Layers - New Raster Layer
Selections
- Select All
Selections - Modify - Contract 5
Effects
- 3D Effects - Cutout
use the settings
below
1, 1, 80, 6, Shadow
Color - Black
Layers - New Raster Layer
Repeat Cutout
With
settings below
-1, -1, 80, 6, Shadow
Color - Black
Go to your layer
pallet
Turn off the layer at the bottom
layer
By
clicking on the eye behind it
Layers
- Merge - Merge Visible
Turn the layer
back on by clicking
On the eye (
the red x will dissapear)
Selections - Invert
*Floodfill selection with light

Effects - 3D Effects
- Inner Bevel

and click in the middle of your Square

Copy and paste

 1280 x height of
your picture
Add new raster
layer
Arrange - Send to
Bottom
Floodfill with
your dark color
(or Light
depending on how you
chose your colors)
Add a texture to
your liking
(Note: depending
on your texture you
use
You may have to
make your layer a
seamless tile)
Layers - Merge
All (Flatten)
Select the
Selections Tool
Select Custom
Selection
Use settings below
(Once again
depends on the size
of your tile
you may have to
change the left and
right border size)
 Make
sure Bottom is the
height of your tile
Add a new
Raster Layer
Flood fill
with your dark
or light color
Effects -3D - Inner
bevel as before
Selection -
Select None
Select The
Deformation Tool
Pull top and
bottom out like

Select Pan tool
to release
Deformation Tool
Layers -
Merge All (Flatten)
Add watermark and save as JPG
